Elements of quality education include well trained teachers, availability of books, active participation of pupils through child-centred learning and appropriate infrastructure. PAF and its partners embarked on building the capacity of teachers based in rural areas through Child Friendly Teaching Methodologies.
The approach allows teachers to assist the children to fully develop psychologically, physically and socially.
PAF is also helping rural schools by providing resources such as books, boards, toys and infrastructure such as toilets and classroom blocks. Some clubs have been introduced in school to enhance participatory learning. These clubs include Chess, field and track sports, Anti-AIDS, Science club, drama etc.
