PAF recently held training in School Governance for PTA, School Management and community members at Choobana Community School in Mazabuka and Malomo in Monze Districts respectively. The training was aimed at providing information on how PAF will help support the provision of Early Child Education with child friendly methodologies by making the learning environment more child friendly so as to help improve the quality of education for learners. These two schools are among other schools that received grants from PAF through its partnership with Roger Federer Foundation (RFF).
The PTA Chairperson and Mr.Chula a volunteer teacher at Choobana Community School in Mazabuka and Monze district shared some of the ideas during the training and later viewed the items bought from the grant received from PAF such as pockets of cement and iron sheets among other things.
The provision of Early Child Education through the child friendly methodologies will help improve the numbers of children especially girls enrolling in to school hence promoting girls education.
